Frequently Asked Questions about Text Therapy
-
Yes—if you’re located in North Carolina, text therapy is therapy. You’ll be working with a licensed clinician, with a treatment plan and treatment goals tailored to you. You can share your thoughts and feelings throughout the week, and I’ll respond three times per week with therapeutic support and strategies, while keeping us aligned with your treatment plan.
For clients in Texas: Text support is not considered therapy on its own. Instead, it’s offered as an additional layer of support alongside telehealth therapy sessions.

I do offer in-person and telehealth therapy as well. Spots are extremely limited, which is why I added text therapy! However, if eiether of us feel an in-person/telehealth therapy session is needed, we will schedule one!
-
The text therapy subscription is $300/month. That is $10/day!
In person/telehealth sessions are $200/session.

My role does not include providing crisis services. However, at the start of our work together, we’ll create a clear plan so you know exactly who to call and what steps to take if a crisis arises. That way, you’ll feel prepared and supported even outside of our work.
If you are ever in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 for 24/7 support.

The length of therapy looks different for everyone. Some people find that a few months of support gives them the clarity and tools they need, while others choose to stay longer to continue building insight, skills, and confidence. What matters most is that therapy moves at your pace and is focused on your goals.
We’ll check in regularly to make sure our work is helping you move forward, and you’ll always have the choice to continue or step back when you feel ready.
